BioHeat 149 has a heat output of approximately 15 kW, but is able to regulate the output steplessly down to approximately 3 kW. When the heat consumption descends to less than 3 kW, the boiler will automatically switch off. When a need for heat arises again, the boiler will switch back on. Normally, when you scale down the heat output on a boiler for wood pellets, problems with condensation in the chimney can arise, because the flue temperature gets too low. In the worst case, this can result in a chimney fire.

In BioHeat 149, we have solved this problem by constructing the convection part in such a way that it can be reduced when the heat output is turned down. This way, it is possible to maintain a largely constant flue temperature and thereby, avoid that the flue gasses condensate in the chimney.
